Bring your own everything.
BTYSHU doesn't come in a box, and there's no list of approved devices. It's built on open standards and open map data, so it works with the kit you already have, or the cheapest kit you can find.

That's every petrol car sold in the UK and EU since 2001 and every diesel since 2004. No adapter? Speed, limits and journeys run on GPS alone.
No locked-in dongle
OBD-II and ELM327 are open industry standards. Any ELM327 Bluetooth LE adapter will do, from any brand.
Fit it however suits your car
Suction, magnetic, clamp or a modified factory cradle. If it holds the screen steady and clear of your view of the road, it's the right one.
Keep the sat nav you like
Waze, Google Maps, Sygic, or anything else that runs in split-screen. BTYSHU doesn't replace your nav, it sits next to it.
No Google, no sign-in
It doesn't need Play Services or an account. Your journeys stay on the device and export as CSV whenever you want them.

Your nav app handles the map. BTYSHU fills the other half of the screen with everything your car's own dashboard hides or never had.
Speed you can trust
GPS speed through a Kalman filter, blended with the car's own road speed. Steady at a cruise, quick under braking, and a clean 0 when you're parked.

Real UK speed limit signs
The actual road-sign artwork, national speed limit roundel included. Offline across England and looked up live everywhere else, and it tells you when a road has no limit data instead of guessing.

Live engine data
Revs, coolant, fuel level, live and trip MPG, range, and the gear you're in, worked out from the gearbox's real ratios.

Fault codes and MOT readiness
Stored and pending codes, with a freeze frame of what the engine was doing when each one was set. It shows which emissions checks are ready for an MOT, and warns you before clearing codes resets them.
